- 2026 Bishop's Services Appeal (BSA) Payment Methods: Check payable to BSA and mail to "Diocese of Lafayette, Office of Stewardship and Development 1408 Carmel Drive, Lafayette, LA 70501-9907. Please notate "St. John Berchmans Church" on check. Credit/Debit Card Payments: Visit diolaf.org/BSA. Questions? Call 337/261-5641.
- The 2026 Mass Book is now open. Please come by the Church Office, at your earliest convenience, to set up your Mass Intentions for the 2026 year or an upcoming month. 2026 Sanctuary Lamp dates may also be scheduled at this time. Please follow the Office hours that are printed on the front of the bulletin. You may call the Office at 337/668-4413, with any questions.
- The 2026 Safe Environment Continuing Training is now available online. If you have already completed the Initial Training, log into virtusonline.org. Your new training is found under “Current Training”. If you do not remember your log-in information, please contact the VIRTUS Online Help Desk at 1-888-847-8870, for assistance. Please email/call the Church Office after completing online Continuing Training, so that we can print your certificate.
- Due to weather delays and labor and construction material shortages, along with shipping holdups, American Cemetery Consultants has informed us that the start of construction of our new mausoleum addition has been delayed until April 2026. Spaces, with financing, are still available in the new addition. If you are interested, please contact the Church Office at 337/668-4413.
- Dress Rehearsal and Pictures for 8th and 9th grade Confirmation Students and Sponsors will be held on Saturday, April 18th, from 8:30am-10:30am in Church. If ordering pictures, please bring picture order form and payment. Please note: Both Student and Sponsor must attend.
- St. John Berchmans KC Council is offering a 2026--$500.00 Scholarship each to two qualifying Seniors that are Parishioners of St. John Berchmans Church. For more information and application, please contact Jesse Thibodeaux at 337-962-0142 or email at [email protected], or the Church Office (337-668-4413) during regular business hours. Deadline to apply is May 1, 2026.
- St. John Berchmans is looking for a volunteer(s) to head-up our 2026-2027 OCIA Program. If you are interested, please contact the Church Office at 337/668-4413.
- The Health Buggy Bus will be in our Church Parking Lot on Friday, April 24th, from 8:15am to 11:00am.
- Reminder: First Communion Ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 19th, at 2:00pm. Students and Parents should arrive at the Church Hall at 1:30pm. Confirmation Ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 26th, at 2:00pm. Students and Sponsors should arrive at the Church at 1:30pm.
