- 2026 Bishop's Services Appeal (BSA) Payment Methods: Check payable to BSA and mail to "Diocese of Lafayette, Office of Stewardship and Development 1408 Carmel Drive, Lafayette, LA 70501-9907. - The 2026 Mass Book is now open. Please come by the Church Office, at your earliest convenience, to set up your Mass Intentions for the 2026 year or an upcoming month. 2026 Sanctuary Lamp dates may also be scheduled at this time. Please follow the Office hours that are printed on the front of the bulletin. You may call the Office at 337/668-4413, with any questions.
- The 2026 Safe Environment Continuing Training is now available online. If you have already completed the Initial Training, log into virtusonline.org. Your new training is found under “Current Training”. If you do not remember your log-in information, please contact the VIRTUS Online Help Desk at 1-888-847-8870, for assistance. Please email/call the Church Office after completing online Continuing Training, so that we can print your certificate.
- Religion Registration for Grades 1-8 for the 2026/2027 school year at St. John Berchmans Church will be held during the month of July, 2026! Please note: 8th Grade will be Confirmed in 2027.
- Due to lack of funding, we have been advised that the Health Buggy Bus will no longer be making visits to our location.
- Everyone is invited to attend our St. John Berchmans "St. Anne Novena" beginning on Friday, July 17th, and ending on Sunday, July 26th. Novena will be recited 15 minutes before weekday Communion Service/Masses and weekend Masses (4:00pm and 8:00am).
- Blessing of Teachers and Students will be held at all Masses on August 1st and 2nd. Students are encouraged to bring their book-bags/backpacks to Mass for a special blessing by Fr. Ken. A Meet & Greet with CCD Teachers & Helpers will be held after the 10:00am Mass in the Church Hall on Sunday, August 2nd.
