Upcoming Events:

                                                                                                 
  •  Masses at St. John Berchmans will be held in Church every Saturday at 4:00pm and Sunday at 9:00am, until further notice. Enter church no more than 30 minutes before Mass begins through side door (handicap ramp).​  Remain 6 feet apart from others; families may sit together.  Face coverings are required unless excluded due to age or medical condition.

  • Weekday Masses are being held on Tuesday through Friday at 12:15pm with a Communion Service on Monday at 8:00am.

  • Church Sanctuary Lamp dates for 2021 are still available.  If interested, please come by the Church Office during regular office hours.  
​
  • The 2021 Offertory Envelopes are now in the Church Office.  Please pick up your box during regular office hours or call the Office at 668-4413, to make other arrangements to pick up your box.

  • Fr. Ken will hear Confessions in front of the Parish Hall on Friday,  January 29th, from 10:00am to 11:00am.

  • The Church Office will be closed on Monday,  January 18th, in commemoration of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.  We will reopen on Tuesday, January 19th, at 8:00am.

  • St. John Berchmans Pro-Life Baby Bottle Campaign—A   pro-life fundraising campaign will be held on January 23-24, 2021, to benefit our local pregnancy resource center and the operation of a state licensed maternity home for homeless,   pregnant women.  ALL OF THE SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE. Baby bottles will be available after all Masses  (January 16-17, 2021) and may be returned the following weekend (January 23-24, 2021) with a donation.  Please be generous to this worthwhile cause.

  • Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, February 14th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne. The 2:00pm Mass will be celebrated by Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel.  Pre-registration by no later than January 31st is required for all couples who wish to be honored as they celebrate 25, 40, 50, 60, or more years of married life during the year 2021.   • Attention High School Seniors applying at McNeese:  St. John Berchmans has been offered a $1,000 Scholarship at McNeese State University to be used during the freshman year.  If interested, please contact the Church Office at 668-4413, for application process.
